On Houston Public Media’s “Town Square” program, Charlene Flash, CEO and president of Avenue 360,  discussed President Biden’s six-prong plan to stop the spread of covid-19 across the country.  There are nearly 80 million Americans eligible to be vaccinated who have not yet gotten their first shot.

“ We are not where we wish we were. Not enough people who have access to vaccination have taken advantage of it,” said Flash, an infectious disease physician. “We need to come together to bring these things under control. And we can’t allow ourselves to be numb to the number of people that are dying, not every month or every week but everyday.”

She is optimistic that President Biden’s plan will help people who are vaccinated, unvaccinated, children returning to school, and make the economy more robust.
