Avenue 360 Health & Wellness Opens New Health Center Serving Midtown, Third Ward

HOUSTON, TX – Avenue 360 Health and Wellness, a community health system in Houston, today opened a new health center serving Houston’s Midtown and Third Ward areas. The 13,800 sq. foot campus offers primary and behavioral health, dentistry, and an adult-day activities program.

“We are thrilled to be in Midtown and look forward to being a part of a vibrant community,” said Dr. Charlene Flash, President and CEO of Avenue 360 and an associate professor at University of Houston College of Medicine. “The goal with our Midtown/Third Ward expansion is to provide more access to quality, compassionate health care, including an HIV specialty practice, in-office and telehealth options for behavioral health, and oral health. This center is another step for us in our long-term plan to reduce health disparities across Houston.”

At eight locations across the region, Avenue 360 provides a 360-degree approach to healthcare that integrates a patient’s in-clinic medical needs with their lived experiences outside of the exam room.

Avenue 360 – Midtown is welcoming new patients.  All major health insurance–including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Community Health Choice, Cigna, United Health Care, Medicaid, Medicare – is accepted. For those without insurance, payment is determined by a patient’s income and household size. The health center will house a pharmacy, slated for 2022.
