Executive Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Marcqwon Daywalker is an integrated family medicine physician and lifestyle medicine specialist currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Clinical Services and Chief Medical Officer at Avenue 360 Health & Wellness. Dr. Daywalker is also a very proud husband and father to a four-year-old son. As an executive physician, he implements multidisciplinary, trauma-informed, community medicine approaches to address the quintuple aims of healthcare: (1) health equity, (2) improved patient experience, (3) improved outcomes, (4) enhanced clinician well-being, and (5) cost reduction.

In previous roles he’s served as Chief Health Equity and Wellness Officer at AccessHealth Community Health Centers leading its trauma-informed organizational transformation; where during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, he helped implement programs at AccessHealth that decreased burnout and increased well-being for health center staff with his organizational case study published within Health Resources and Service Administration’s “Guide to Measuring and Addressing Burnout at Your Organization During a Crisis”.

Dr. Daywalker is also a faculty member and health center coach for the National Network of Oral Health Access (NNOHA) Integrating Diabetes and Oral Health Collaborative as well as adjunct faculty for NNOHA’s Culturally Appropriate Care Learning Collaborative. He co-chairs the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved’s Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committee. In addition, Dr. Daywalker serves on other state and national committees to improve healthcare services and has been a speaker at state, national, and international conferences.

He received his medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, where he received the institutional honor of the “Primary Care Award”. As a National Health Service Corps member, he was selected to become a participant in the American College of Lifestyle Medicine’s national Health Equity Achieved through Lifestyle Medicine (HEAL) 2022 cohort.
