Serving the Community for over 25 Years

Avenue 360 continues to fulfill its original mission as an AIDS Service Organization (ASO) with a unique focus on ending the HIV epidemic through early diagnosis and engagement in treatment, linkage to pre-exposure prophylaxis and community education.

HIV and STI Testing

Avenue 360 offers free rapid testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, and pregnancy testing at two of our health center locations, and community venues. We provide an array of community-based services such as health education, free health screenings (HIV/STI, pregnancy, blood pressure, glucose, etc.), and navigation to healthcare services. To improve the lives of all we service, our approach to health extends beyond the clinic’s four walls, with a strong focus on community integration.  Appointments are not required, and walk-ins are welcomed. PrEP: For Whatever Comes Your Way

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) are medications that can be taken to lower your risk of getting HIV, by up to 99%, according to the CDC. They entail taking a pill every day or a shot every 8 weeks to reduce the risk of getting HIV from sex. Schedule an appointment today with one of our medical providers who can help you decide if PrEP is the best option for you.

HIV Primary Care

Avenue 360 also provides primary care for people living with HIV/AIDS at its Heights and Midtown locations. Patients receive support from nursing, care coordinators, and case managers to help with disease management, medication access and adherence, and addressing social determinants of health such as housing, food insecurity, and transportation barriers. Our in-house behavioral health and recovery support team are integral in addressing the mental health and substance use challenges people living with HIV/AIDS experience.

As part of Avenue 360’s commitment to ending the HIV epidemic, we facilitate HIV treatment within 72 hours of being newly diagnosed. Initiating treatment soon after diagnosis has shown to improve overall health and decrease the transmission of HIV.
