Gus Krucke, MD
Dr. Gus W. Krucke, M.D. has provided compassionate care for 35 years as Medical Director at Bering Omega HIV/AIDS Hospice. A well-published Associate Professor at UT Health Science Center, he serves as a mentor and advocate for many in the LGBTQ+ community. His development of HIV/AIDS treatment protocols at the Thomas Street Clinic earned him the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award and election into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Graduating Cum Laude from University of South Alabama with his undergraduate and then medical degrees, he completed his residency at UT Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Krucke is boarded in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Hospice/Palliative Care. Now retired from full-time practice, Dr. Krucke continues his commitment to compassionate care through his work with Omega House.
